Tulum Hotel  – Staying in a private Villa

Many might not consider a Luxury Villa in Tulum, Mexico but 16 Tulum is the perfect place to stay in lieu of a Tulum Hotel! 

Don’t get us wrong, we LOOOOVVVVEEE all the boutique hotels around Tulum, Mexico. Especially Tulum’s Beach Hotels! But, having an entire private villa with your friends or family is WAY BETTER. 

Tulum Hotel Luxury Rooms

The rooms at 16 Tulum are truly stunning. From tall ceilings and the clean, minimal design it creates a stunning aesthetic full of natural light. My personal favorite feature of this Tulum Hotel.

Outdoor Shower & Private Pools

I am a HUGE fan of an outdoor shower and that was one of my favorite features at 16 Tulum. The rooms each feature either an outdoor show and patio or a private pool with a hammock.  I chose a room upstairs with a large patio. It had the most beautiful view and I am dying to go back! 

Tulum Hotel Weddings

16 Tulum provides the perfect location for a destination wedding in Tulum! They have several spots on the property for an intimate wedding ceremony but also for the reception! I’d encourage anyone to host their wedding at a Tulum hotel.

Private Chef 

During our stay at 16 Tulum, we had the most delish food made by Piedra De Fuego. Their team was professional and created some of the tastiest food I’ve had traveling abroad. Their outdoor, open kitchen is a great location for each meal! 

Downtown Tulum

16 Tulum had a fabulous location close to Downtown so you are able to walk to lots of restaurants or coffee shops. It’s easy to take a taxi or you can rend a bicycle or motorcycle to get around on. 

Why you should choose a luxury Villa

Having the privacy of your own villa is so relaxing and fun! We highly recommend choosing a private villa (especially a luxury villa like 16 Tulum) just so that you can truly enjoy your time, and the location, and do whatever you want! From sunbathing on the patio or yoga to having a party or wedding it’s a perfect location for your vacation in Tulum!
