Jackson Hole Elopements

A winter elopement in Jackson Hole

January 26, 2024

Eloping in Jackson Hole

Eleatha and Stewart traded in their sunny, Florida lifestyle for a winter elopement in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with all the details!

For Eleatha and Stewarts dream elopement, they wanted to have some traditions with their ceremony and a mini version of an intimate reception for two including a cake, champagne, and dancing! All ending with a celebratory drink at the infamous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar!

Check out all the stunning photographs and video from their big day and read more about how this elopement came together!

Getting Ready in Jackson Hole

E + S choose a rental from Rendezvous Rentals for their wedding adventure! It has a great location in Teton Village so super close to the mountain and restaurants!

We started their elopement off with some details capturing the pieces they brought for their day and each of them getting ready.

The First Look

After they got ready, we did a quick first look just outside of their cabin! It had just started snowing and was so BEAUTIFUL for an intimate, first look!

The Wedding Tree Elopement Ceremony

After the first look, we headed to The Wedding Tree for their ceremony!

The Wedding Tree is probably the best public location for a winter elopement!

With an easy, short trail to a stunning teton view it can make for a jaw dropping wedding ceremony!

Mormon Row

After the Ceremony and couples portraits, we warmed up on the drive into Grand Teton National Park! Arriving at Mormon Row, an iconic location for the area!

It’s one of my favorite stops after the wedding tree and because this was a November elopement we could still access it easily.

Pro tip- Location access changes a lot due to snow in the winter or construction in the summer. This is the best part of having a local who location scouts and knows the in’s and out’s of the area!

Winter Elopement Celebration

Our last stop in Grand Teton National Park was just down the road from the barns at  Mormon Row and on the way back to town!

Here we jazzed up the back of Eleatha + Stewarts suv and created a luxe picnic with charcuterie, champagne, hot ciders, and cake! Plus some stunning dining settings and florals with a Pendelton blanket! Along with our sister business, Foxtails Weddings, we offer all inclusive elopements or these customizable picnic add-ons!

As the sun set, the couple got to relax with snacks and champagne before our final photos outside under the Tetons.

Take a peek at these fun photos!

And these STUNNING photographs just after sunset during blue hour!

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar

Our final stop was at the classic Million Dollar bar where you can literally saddle up to the bar!

It’s my favorite stop for couples at the end of an elopement and before they head out to dinner!

This is because it’s right on the square so a great spot to hit before and after dinner!

But don’t take my word for it! Just peek at these!

about the artist

I'm Kayla

A red dirt girl from Oklahoma turned mountain woman with a camera in tow. I have a finesse for fine art in the West and over the years have built a legendary business that encompasses wild landscapes and romance among the mountains.

This was all born from a love of old westerns and my dad’s dream of moving out West. Which I did, 17 years ago, as I settled under the Big Horn Mountains in Northern Wyoming. From there I’ve adventured all across the west, hiking miles of trails among our vast public lands and living out my John Wayne era.

My love of photography has grown from digital to film and videography. These are the mediums of my art and there is beauty within each. While photography is a still moment, an emotion held… videography is the voice, the sound of that emotion, from the tears in a voice to the elk bugling in the background. This audible energy of your day will bring you right back.
