Winter Elopement at The Wedding Tree

November 7, 2025

A Snowy Elopement at the Wedding Tree for Erin and Jackson

January is a perfect time for a winter elopement in Jackson Hole and hoping around Grand Teton National Park! I love the colors and how romantic the snow is.

For these two, we started out at their hotel room for some details and Erin getting ready with her friend before heading out to their ceremony. They chose to stay separate and see each other for the first time at their ceremony. Along with them were a few friends and family to celebrate and one friend who officiated! It was so cute and I LOVED the pop of reds and pinks.

Winter Wedding Tree Ceremony

The Wedding Tree is one of my favorite places for a winter ceremony. It is easily accessible year round with a gorgeous view of the Tetons. For Erin and Jackson, there was a bit of clouds so only part was visible but it was still stunning!

Couples Portraits at The Wedding Tree

Right after the ceremony, I photographed Erin and Jackson Hugging and sharing in the joy with their guests. Once that was done we snapped family and friend pictures before diving into their couples portraits here!

Here are some of my favorite film shots

And here are the digital ones

Grand Teton National Park Elopement Portraits

Because the Wedding Tree is right by Grand Teton National Park, we quick hopped in for some stunning pics as the sun set and then their celebration. Along the way though we saw some bison and got some great pictures of that!

Wedding Celebration

Right after some portraits these two got to celebrate with a cake and champagne!

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Jackson Town Square

To end the night, we quick hopped into town square for wedding photographs under the antler arches and a few quick ones with the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar behind them!

about the artist

I'm Kayla

A red dirt girl from Oklahoma turned mountain woman with a camera in tow. I have a finesse for fine art in the West and over the years have built a legendary business that encompasses wild landscapes and romance among the mountains.

My love of photography has grown from digital to film. With my dad's old Minolta and vintage  film cameras I've picked up over the years, I use these to photograph my couples in an enduring medium that I adore.

Photography is a still moment, an emotion held forever. To look at and bring us right back to the moment. To remind us  how we felt,  of those we love, and something we cherish and pass down over generations.
