Iceland Photography for Couples

If you’re looking for a unique and gorgeous outdoor location for your engagement session or elopement then look no further!

Iceland is one of my favorite places due to it’s stunning landscapes, mesmerizing wildlife, and fun adventures. From endless hot springs and scrumptious pastries to volcanoes and kayaking, it’s endlessly romantic for those who crave adventure.

I loved this session because it shows how elevated and iconic a couples session or engagement photography can be in Iceland.

Sweater Engagements

Iceland is chilly year round so doing a sweater outfit or layers is important. This was in July and while it can warm up a bit more in August, the wind blows and it never gets hot here. June the weather is quite similar and lots of beautiful wildflowers depending where you go.

For this shoot, we were at the lovely Hvammsvik Estate where you’ll find rolling hills of grass with stunning views. They have some amazing lodging ( highly recommend) and hot springs that you’ll want to enjoy!

A Windy Style

I lean into each session with an eyey for the landscape, weather, and what my couples style is.

For this editorial, we leaned into the windy and messy hair for more of the loose editorial look. These two were not into the laughing or more candid pictures so we kept it soft and more dramatic.
