All-inclusive Italy Elopements

– Italy is one of my favorite countries because it’s romantic, has some of the best food, jaw dropping architecture AND landscapes, phenomenal art, and where I got the BEST hair cut of my entire life. Honestly, the list could continue forever.

I adore who you can have a romantic gondola ride in Venice but then hop on the train and find yourself in Lake Como strolling alongside the lake and drinking lemoncello after dinner. Take another short train ride, and you’ll find yourself amongst the grandeur of the Dolomites. Hope on a plane to Florence and sit in awe under the Birth of Venus and then head to the infamous cliffs of Amalfi. Cinque Terre, Sicily, Capri, Rome, the list of amazing cities and landscapes across this country are endless.

So why elope in Italy?

Honestly the hard question is where to elope at in Italy.

For me and my couples, we seek locations with iconic backdrops, luxe hotels, a romantic adventure, and an experience that is once in a lifetime. Italy has a wide variety of that and it often is a great fit for couples depending on what they are searching for.

First off, we want to start with the time of year. If couples are looking for an elopement in Jan-April with warmth, then we instantly look at Sicily and locations in Southern Italy. For some, they want a wintery mountain elopement with skiing or wildflowers in the summer and then we plan for the Dolomites.

Lake Como is beautiful in mid May through the summer but the fall really shines as colors change on the trees.

When choosing an Italian elopement, we look at the time of year and if you’re wanting mountains or ocean. After choosing a location and time of year, we dive into your lodging. I always recommend that couples splurge on at least the night before and night of their elopement. This is because you deserve special treatment and want to wake up being pampered. It also is because this is where we’ll be beginning your elopement and often we want to do your getting ready, perhaps a boudoir or portrait before the ceremony, and then often do your ceremony here. Afterwards, we then hop off to explore some gorgeous locations for portraits and possibly an adventure! I LOVE a bougie boat ride or even a stunning sunset sailboat ride!

Elopement Packages for Italy

I offer three packages for Italy.

• Photography ( film and digital)
• Photography + Videography
• All-inclusive Elopement

The first package is perfect for the couple who wants to keep things simple and have control over booking their other vendors. I still help to guide you on what to do + when to do and give you vendor recommendations but then it is up to you to book them. The second includes video which is GREAT to have if it’s in the budget! The all-inclusive is my most commonly booked because this helps couples to relax and get excited while everything is handled. These packages can include a mix of these or all of them:

• Photography
• Videography
• Hair + Makeup
• Florals
• Officiant
• Private Boat Ride

I also work with travel agents who can help to arrange all of your flights, lodging, and whatever else you need! Together, we recommend some of the BEST hotels in the area!

For pricing, packages start at $4350 and range to $16,000. I customize packages for couples to fit their budgets and then try to fit in everything they are wanting! I start with either 3 or 5 hours of photography and then build out depending on what you would like included.

To book, I require a $1500 retainer to reserve your spot. That is applied to the full amount due and the remaining balance can be paid in monthly payments ( up to 12) or in two larger payments.

Elopement Planning Process

Once we have your lodging, flights, and vendors booked then I work to create your timeline. This sets everything up for you to have a relaxing morning together before getting pampered and ready to celebrate! I also guide you on the best time to make a dinner reservation but sometimes couples plan for room service or a private dinner on their balcony.

Within 72 hours, you receive your sneak peek gallery with around 50 -75 digital images. Your teaser film is delivered within two weeks and full gallery + video in 4-8 weeks.
