A Ralph Lauren inspired Engagement Session in Grand Teton National Park

If you’re going to have an engagement session in the mountains, western chic is the way to go! For Lauren and Austin’s Jackson Hole Engagement photographs we leaned into a Ralph Lauren inspired mood board and location scouted for that same aesthetic.

Cotton Wood Creek Picnic Area

For that RL vibe, we knew horses needed to be present along with some beautiful fencing and those iconic Teton Views. Just inside of the park is the charming Cotton Wood Creek area. It’s easy to get to and right off the main road! This is fab for quick access but not for privacy as lots of tourist and locals are here walking, riding bikes, and just enjoying the view too! Totally worth it though!

Fashion is Key for your engagement session

I will always recommend Reformation for an engagement dress and this one Lauren found was pure perfect! Elegant with a hint of western and gorgeous details. I always recommend doing one fancier outfit and one more casual for engagement session.

about the artist

I'm Kayla

A red dirt girl from Oklahoma turned mountain woman with a camera in tow. I have a finesse for fine art in the West and over the years have built a legendary business that encompasses wild landscapes and romance among the mountains.

My love of photography has grown from digital to film. With my dad's old Minolta and vintage  film cameras I've picked up over the years, I use these to photograph my couples in an enduring medium that I adore.

Photography is a still moment, an emotion held forever. To look at and bring us right back to the moment. To remind us  how we felt,  of those we love, and something we cherish and pass down over generations.
