Meet Kayla

With a passion for wildlife, my untraditional journey into photography began. Originally, I spent a decade as a veterinary technician and saving animals however Wyoming's mountain vistas and endless fields of sage captivated me (looks like we have that in common).

 I found my creative outlet in photography with a dream of becoming a wildlife photographer and hiking across the state. I started investing in photography gear and exploring. But once you get good at taking photographs, your friends of course want you to capture family and wedding photos for them! Because of this, I photographed my first wedding in 2014 and soon fell in love with documenting love stories while incorporating the wild landscapes and natural light that I was obsessed with.

The truth is, couples come to Wyoming not only to get married but to experience what is left of the wild west. Explore the acres of wilderness and be enchanted with the wildlife while having a wedding photographer who feels the same.
