Product photography is always a fun challenge, but it is even more fun when I, as the photographer, am able to add in some florals and detailing. Which is why I absolutely loved this beauty brand photography shoot with Clove and Hallow!
Clove and Hallow’s Brand Photography Shoot
Clove and Hallow is known for having less than 15 ingredients in every product, and this simplicity is carried over in the elegant design of their branding. Because of that, I kept their shoot simple and didn’t add in too much fluff. I took some of our favorite products and paired them with just a touch of pink detailing. The colors I added in matched perfectly with their brand colors! Also, it felt like some additional florals would fit in perfectly for their brand aesthetic! So I got to incorporate some unique touches to make the photos pop.
Creating brand photography for beauty brands is always fun because so many beauty brands + products are beautiful in aesthetic and packaging. When they already are created and curated with such care, they photograph so well when placed into the right composition!
My favorite detail of this brand photography session was the rosehips. I was able to pick some out of my garden and match them aside one of my personal favorites, their Everything Oil, which has rose hip oil as one of the main ingredients.
The pictures from this brand photography shoot are absolutely swoon-worthy! I felt that we successfully executed creativity while providing Clove and Hallow with on-brand product photography. It is SO important to make sure my brand photography aligns not only with a client’s vision, but also with their website and social pages. This allows the brand to get the most out of the images and ensures that they can use them in a variety of ways. Take a peek at how it all turned out!
