A Winter Wedding at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: Devon & Michael

November 5, 2026

Couple portrait in the snow with mountains behind them

A winter wedding at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has a magic all its own. Devon and Michael’s day had it in every direction. Their guests rode the gondola up the mountain to watch these two say their vows, surrounded by snow and wide-open views.

Getting Ready at the Four Seasons

The guys got ready in the speakeasy at the Four Seasons. Sharp tuxes, cocktails, and a little time together before heading up the mountain.

Details and Gondola Ride

The best way to arrive at a mountain wedding? By gondola!

The Ceremony

Their ceremony took place outside at the top of the mountain. White florals lined the aisle in the snow, with sunshine and mountains all around us. And Devon’s cathedral veil in that wind!

The Design and Details

Inside Rendezvous Lodge, the design stayed true to the season: white florals, candlelight, and greenery against the wood beams.

The Reception

After the ceremony, everyone moved inside Rendezvous Lodge for the reception. The big windows looked out over the valley.

Cocktail hour meant margaritas on trays and guests drifting between the bar and views. The cake wore baby’s breath, the champagne bottle wore its own party dress, and a pair of gold boots waited under the gown.

Devon and Michael had such an unforgettable day on the mountain. I loved being part of Jac’s team as her second shooter for this one.

about the artist

I'm Kayla

A red dirt girl from Oklahoma turned mountain woman with a camera in tow. I have a finesse for fine art in the West and over the years have built a legendary business that encompasses wild landscapes and romance among the mountains.

My love of photography has grown from digital to film. With my dad's old Minolta and vintage  film cameras I've picked up over the years, I use these to photograph my couples in an enduring medium that I adore.

Photography is a still moment, an emotion held forever. To look at and bring us right back to the moment. To remind us  how we felt,  of those we love, and something we cherish and pass down over generations.
