The second I heard an Oklahoma couple was getting married in Jackson, I knew it was a match made in heaven! I seriously could not have been more excited after Ashley with Wild Rose connected us. After sharing our stories with each, Madi and Justin chose me to do their engagement session in Tulsa, which I was so thrilled about! I was even more excited to shoot this couple when they chose me as their wedding photographer as well!
Madi and Justin are currently in school attending Norman at OU (BOOMER SOONER!), but they couldn’t wait to get engaged. So after 6 years together, Justin proposed during a recent trip to Wyoming, in front of Yellowstone’s most gorgeous waterfalls. They knew right away that they wanted to plan to tie the knot in a similar Wyoming setting!
A Tulsa Engagement Session
The great part of being a photographer based out of both Oklahoma and Wyoming is that I get to capture my clients in two of the places I love the most. We were so lucky to catch a pre-fall engagement session around Tulsa this October. Thankfully, the weather held out, and we even had a little sunshine peak through at the end of it!
After going over several options, Madi & Justin chose to have their engagement pictures done at Coal Creek Farm in Jenks, OK. It is a fave destination, as it caters to photographers and isn’t as populated as some areas. Because of this, we had so much privacy and the whole area almost completely to ourselves. This Tulsa engagement photography session was such a joy to shoot! From their beautiful love to the gorgeous colors and landscapes!
From the fun & romantic swing to having a field and a creek, there were lots of beautiful landscapes to incorporate into their session. Take a peak at these whimsical photos from their Tulsa engagement photography session!
